[Products & Services][Registration][Links & FAQ's][FNG][Work-in-Progress]
This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.
We have relocated from GreenBeret.net to http://www.specialforcesbooks.com Thanks to Bob Golden for being our host for so long and so well. There are still a few bugs to be ironed out, especially in the FORUMS.
Updates to I & II CTZ Mike Forces are being posted, concurrent with the release of those CD ROMs. (9/8/05)
All teams have now been posted. I have received numerous corrections and posted them to my database. Before I posted these corrections on the website, I made a major change to permit comments on each page in a system of FORUMS. Use the link from your team page, sign-in (User Name) with your whole name including Middle Initial as it appears on the website (Use underlines for spaces). Post as a thread to the team discussion and sign your postings the same way so people know who you are and can get in touch with you directly. We will be making certain suggestions and rules as this system develops, e.g., if you have photos and want to make them available, you can link to them from your message. 8/8/01
III & IV CTZ A and B teams have been updated. 05/25/03
All A- teams have been updated. 10/25/01
MAPS are being shipped. Contact websmaster or Unit Rep for details.

This page contains answers to common questions we receive, along with some tips and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as questions.
First, you volunteer to serve in the U.S. Army. Second, you volunteer for Basic Airborne training. Third, you volunteer for Special Forces. Since the inception of the Special Forces Branch in 198? this procedure has become a bit more complicated, requiring certain additional training and length of service criteria.
After you have been accepted and you have passed all your requirements for the award of a "3" prefix [Officers, pre-198?], "S" suffix [EM pre-198?] or 18 series MOS [post-198?] you may contact the Special Forces Association in regard to membership. [See Where can I find...?] A few associate memberships are available to persons who can document a supporting relationship to Special Forces during combat operations, such as CIDG, FAC's, attached LRRP's, Signal augmentees and Forward Observers. There are a few additional formalities, like documenting your SF qualification as noted above, payment of dues and selection of a local chapter, but it's all fun and games from there.
