This may be a stretch but does anybody out there remember the February 27, 1969 departure of the Special Weapons Platoon from Nhatrang enroute to Can To ? Curious if anyone was in Nhatrang for the briefing the evening of February 26th. I have a vague memory of someone being dropped into the briefing a bit under the weather from drinking 21 double rum and cokes for a birthday that night. Just Curious.
