The following is a listing of all personnel in our database, who served in the 21st Military History Detachment. Narrative Information: The 21st Military History Detachment, operating under the Group S-3, conducted interviews, secured documents and prepared studies preserving the history of the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). One of its last efforts was supervision of the preparation of an Outline History of U.S. Army Special Forces Participation in the CIDG Program - Vietnam (1957-1970).
